Steven P. Nemphos
From Broadway to broadcast—let’s tell a story worth watching. From Broadway rehearsals to casting calls in Los Angeles, I’ve lived this craft coast to coast. With a BFA from NYU, credits at Disney and SeaWorld, and a SAG-AFTRA card in my wallet, I’m an actor with both the training and heart to elevate every scene. Whether you’re a director, casting director, or producer, welcome—you’re in the right place.
About
I didn’t grow up on a stage—I grew up in a town called King of Prussia, in a family that taught me how powerful storytelling can be. It helped me make sense of a mom with bipolar disorder, a brother with an intellectual disability, and losing my dad at seventeen. This gave me a sense of humor, thick skin, and a serious appreciation for human behavior.
Acting felt like home, especially after losing my dad (by the way, that’s where the “P.” comes from in my name). I earned my BFA (with honors!) from NYU. I’ve coached technical theater and performance to high school students and eventually taught at the collegeiate level. Since graduating, I’ve assistant directed on Broadway, worked as a casting director on an Emmy-winning limited series, and performed live for Disney World and SeaWorld. These days, I’m based in Los Angeles, repped, SAG-AFTRA card in hand, focused on bringing grounded, smart characters to life.
People say I give off a Jason Bateman or Andy Samberg vibe—dry, funny, with a little bite. I’ll let you decide. Besides acting? I’m married to my brilliant wife Michelle, and we share our lives with two four-legged scene-stealers: a cat named Sriracha and a dog named Soju. They’re not in the union (yet), but I’m working on it.
I’m here to collaborate, create, and tell stories that mean something. If you’ve got a project with heart (or fangs), let’s talk.
See You On Set,
